Nice to meet you.

About

Sarah Tomasso has always enjoyed creating new things and coming up with efficient solutions and choosing a path of design has consistently ignited that passion.

Sarah grew up in Rhode Island, embracing the ocean state life. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing, Sarah returned to Rhode Island.

She landed a full-time job working for one of Providence's most forward thinking start-ups, but the desire to independently create was still very alive. She learned how to laser-cut at a community makers space downtown, AS220, allowing her to turn her designs into physical reality. The possibilities were endless and a whole new path was becoming carved.

In 2014, Sarah started Artefacts Collection- an online shop showcasing handmade jewelry and home-ware from artisans around the world, as well as her own designs, made in Providence, RI.

Now, Sarah continues to work with the laser-cutter in more ways than ever. As a full-time freelance designer, she balances design projects, laser-cutting, and managing Artefacts Collection. In addition to her RI-themed etched glassware, now in several shops across the state, in 2016, Sarah started Lzrbeams, a design service geared specifically for other shop owners. Using her first-hand shop owning experience combined with her design skills, Sarah creates branded packaging and displays for small businesses.

Sarah's free time is most enjoyed when she is outside on a trail, in a kayak, doing yoga, or sharing a delicious meal with good people. Perhaps it's because she is a Libra, but balance is at the core of her life. Plant lover, crystal collector, tequila ambassador, bike riding, travel hungry, ever curious designer - Sarah Tomasso.
